Our Story – A Heritage Bake with an Australian Touch
It all began in 1965 with two friends, an Italian and French from Sydney who shared a sweet tooth and a dream of baking. Inspired by the warmth and nostalgia of of Italian and French Grandma’s kitchen, they set out to revive that delightful feeling. 60 years later, we still honour that spirit, baking each of our products on-site and filling our stores styled with charm reminiscent of the 1940s with the irresistible aroma of fresh cakes and pies.
Rooted in tradition yet proudly Australian, our story is one of friendship, passion, and a commitment to quality that blends timeless baking heritage with the unique flavours and hospitality that define Australia. Every bite is a celebration of legacy and love, crafted to bring families and communities together, just like in the kitchens and bakeries of Australia’s past.
